Description:
Single 48” x 105” stationary aluminum table is machined with a square grid pattern for fixturing parts, grid pattern allows use of vacuum pods or closed cell rope gasketing material and use of spoil boards for ”nested based machining”. Working field along x-axis 105” (2690 mm); working field along y-axis 48”; panel clearance (without drill bit) 5.9” (150 mm); max. workpiece thickness 3” (75 mm).
Equipped with : (1) 10 HP “Power 2000” Electro spindle w/lifetime lubrication & HSK 63 tool coupling, spindle speeds from 900-18,000RPM; (1) spindle motor (2.2 kw-4,000 RPM); 8-position traveling ATC tool carousel, (1) 9 spindle boring head (5 vertical and 4 horizontal). Closed loop AC servo drive system driving precision ground ball screws for positioning feed rates up to 1,500 IPM; all axes ride on extra large precision profile linear guideways.
Windows based operating environment (PC Office SCM), 1.2 GB hard drive, ergonomic keypad, 3-1/2” disk drive, (2) serial ports RS-232 & RS-242 all housed in air cooled cabinet.
Complete with: Vacuum pumps (250 cbm/Hr., safety enclosure around the spindle carriage, assorted tooling, emergency stop rope, and pop-up pins on the table perimeter. Includes tooling and manuals. We have purchased (2) extra pop-up pins for this machine (value $700)
